How does the Schoology integration work?

There are many ways to use video within your Schoology LTI app. We found that the best way to communicate is through video.

You can record your screen or webcam with ScreenPal and then easily share your videos with your students. You can also have your students communicate with video. They don’t need a login to create videos. Students can launch the free screen recorder.

Within Schoology, you will see the ScreenPal circle icon in multimedia content areas. Wherever you see the icon, you can add ScreenPal content.

If you have a Team account, you can also use the channel recorder button to invite your users to participate in asynchronous video conversations by responding to your prompts, assignments, or your own videos.
How do you make a video in Schoology?

Can I embed video in Schoology?

It’s easy to add your videos to Schoology!

First, upload your video to your ScreenPal account.

Once uploaded, you will be able to see the video within the LTI app. Go to the multimedia content editing area where you want to embed the video in Schoology and click the ScreenPal icon.

The LTI app will allow you to see all of your videos that you’ve uploaded to ScreenPal. Simply select the video you would like to embed.

Find the video in your hosting account. Hover over the video you want to embed and click on ‘Details.’ Click on the share icon in Video Details.

You can customize the embed by selecting the size of your video, adding controls, captions or choose to add a title to your video. When done customizing, copy and paste the embed code to your platform.

You can also copy a direct link to your video and share to your audience.
